I love the first mask I bought, but not loving the second shipment...

I bought the mask originally during the holidays from a department store. They were great! Expensive, but great! The ones I just ordered online, the same darn mask, are not great. They shorten the straps by 1/2 to 1 inch ish, and the mask are now uncomfortable and pulling on my ears to a degree I cannot wear them. :-(
